Clement "Nalkya" Guillemard is set to join Gentle Mates as the Assistant Coach of Adrien "GotoOne" Picard in the LFL, according to Sheep Esports sources. He will be reunited with support Robert "Erdote" Nowak with whom he worked at Zero Tenacity during the 2024 Ultraliga season and who is also joining the French organization, as previously reported by Sheep Esports. Jonas "Memento" Elmarghichi was also considered by M8, sources told Sheep Esports. With this addition, M8 further strengthen their coaching staff, while their roster is already complete with toplaner Panagiotis "Empyros" Tantis, jungler Lanzo "Zicssi" Ciajolo, midlaner Jérémy "Eika" Valdenaire, and AD Carry Markos "Comp" Stamkopoulos.

So far, Nalkya has enjoyed remarkable success throughout his career. The French coach began his journey with Team Oplon's coaching staff in 2021, where he contributed to the team's victory in both splits of the LFL Division 2—likely bolstered by the presence of a certain Martin “Yike” Sundelin in the jungle. He then joined forces with Striker and Reha at Karmine Corp in the LFL in 2022. The roster, featuring Martin “Rekkles” Larsson, not only reached the LFL finals but also secured Karmine Corp's third consecutive EMEA Masters title.

A Perfect Year in Ultraliga

Nalkya's results were more inconsistent after his initial success with the Blue Wall, including a sixth-place finish in the LFL Summer Split and a disappointing ninth-place showing in Spring 2023. However, he made an impressive comeback this season with Z10. The Serbian club dominated the Ultraliga, winning both splits with a strong roster, although they fell short of competing at the higher level against top ERL teams in the EMEA Masters.

Despite their domestic triumphs, Zero Tenacity announced at the end of October that they would be exiting all three Riot Games titles they competed in: League of Legends, VALORANT, and Teamfight Tactics. This left Nalkya in search of a new project, leading him back to France to help reinvigorate Gentle Mates. After a miraculous podium finish in the Spring Split, the Luxurious struggled in the summer, finishing only 8th in the LFL.
