Caedrel is open to do a World Tour or to join a Tier 2 league with promotion, like NACL
In a video released on Los Ratones' YouTube channel, Marc "Caedrel" Lamont reflected on the team's successful split, where they claimed both the NLC and EMEA Masters titles, and discussed their future. Los Ratones entered the NLC at the start of 2025 and completely dominated both the league and EMEA Masters during Winter, all while sharing extensive content, including scrim streams, player POVs, and in-game communications.
Caedrel confirmed that Los Ratones will stay in the NLC and EMEA Masters for the rest of the year, but their future beyond 2025 remains uncertain. He plans to explore all options to take the team further. Los Ratones have proven that competing at a high level while maintaining strong fan engagement through content is possible, as they showcased during the Winter Split. However, he acknowledged the challenge of balancing content creation with competitive performance.
Looking ahead, his goal is to bring Los Ratones to a Tier 1 league, though joining the LEC would be difficult. With franchise slots costing around 20 million, buying in is unrealistic, but a partnership with another team could be a possibility—without sacrificing the identity and energy of LR. Other ideas include show matches, a bootcamp in Korea, scrims against international teams, or a "Los Ratones World Tour" to face LCK CL and LCK teams, top LEC squads, or LTA teams in North America.
