The Mouz player received offers from G2, Falcons and many others.
Top rifler David "frozen" Čerňanský has reached an agreement to join Faze Clan as their new CS2 player. The Mouz star player received multiple offers from different clubs, including G2 esports and Team Falcons.
This follows the departure of Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken from Faze Clan, who according to close sources is leaving the club to join Team Liquid.
Frozen transfer move
Frozen's shift to Faze Clan is not just a major strategic move for the team but also stands as one of Mouz's most significant financial transactions in esports. Initially, the Slovakian rifler had opted to remain with Mouz despite receiving multiple offers. However, Faze Clan's position as a top-tier team and the opportunity to reunite with former teammates swayed his decision.
Since joining Mouz in 2019, Frozen has been a formidable force in the CS2 arena. His tenure at Mouz includes winning the ESL Pro League Season 18 and securing numerous top-four finishes, such as in the IEM Rio Major 2022. Frozen's consistent high performance, highlighted by a world ranking of #17 in 2022 and a 1.17 rating over the past three months, cements his status as one of the elite players in the post-CS2 update era.
While Twistzz's departure is a significant loss for Faze Clan, Frozen's entry might not just fill the gap but potentially elevate the team's performance. Notably, Frozen will be teaming up again with Finn "karrigan" Andersen and Robin "Ropz" Kool, recreating a dynamic trio that previously excelled together in Mousesports back in 2019.
