Spinx, one of the best players in the world, is set to join Mouz from Team Vitality
After officially benching Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek citing clashing visions of the game only hours ago, MOUZ has settled on his replacement — per Sheep Esports sources, Lotan "Spinx" Giladi, ranked the 13th best player in the world by HLTV last year and the 5th best player in the world in 2023, has reached a verbal agreement with MOUZ. After two years playing for Vitality and finding massive success along the way, Spinx is moving to the MOUZ banner.
MOUZ had a decent 2024, asserting themselves as top contenders by winning ESL Pro League Season 19 — where they defeated Spinx and Team Vitality in the finals 3-0 — and BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024. According to HLTV, MOUZ is currently the 5th best team in the world, behind powerhouses like Team Spirit, Team Vitality, NAVI, and G2. An addition like Spinx could be what they need to move even higher.
Spinx had never won a top-tier major before joining Vitality, but saw incredible success after joining the team in 2022 — together, they won ESL Pro League Season 16, IEM Rio 2023 and Cologne 2024, Gamers8 2023, the Blast.TV Paris Major 2023, and the Blast Premier Fall Finals and Worlds Finals in 2023. Though some of those trophies were as recent as only months ago, 2024 was far less dominant for VIT than 2023. Clearly, Spinx has higher aspirations, and he's hoping to achieve those on MOUZ.
