The third and final week of the 2025 LEC Winter Split is under way, and we've already learned the first teams to have qualified for the next phase. Although the teams have each only played seven matches so far, five of them have stood out and secured enough wins to guarantee a spot in the playoffs bracket, which will begin in two weeks on February 15th. Fnatic, Karmine Corp, Movistar KOI, GiantX, and G2 Esports are all qualified, and will now focus on securing their seeding, knowing that no team will start in the loser's bracket.

Rogue does not have its fate in its hands

Each of the 10 LEC teams still have two matches left to play. With SK Gaming's elimination yesterday, four teams are fighting not to join them in an early elimination from the Winter Split: Team BDS, Team Heretics, Team Vitality (all 3-4), and Rogue (1-6). It is the latter who face the toughest challenge. While it is still mathematically possible, Rogue's path to qualification is the following:

In the most thrilling scenario, three teams can finish at 3-6, forcing a triple tiebreaker to decide who claims the final playoffs spot. But, for this to happen, Rogue must first prove themselves tonight against SK Gaming, who have nothing left to lose, at 18:00 CET.
