Verno is set to fill the spot left by open by Nozwerr
After finishing 3rd at the VCT 2025: Americas Kickoff, MIBR has already made its first roster change. On February 27, Agustin “Nozwerr” Ibarra was placed in the Brazilian organization's inactive roster. According to sources close to Sheep Esports, MIBR has now found a replacement at one of its competitors, NRGs Andrew “Verno” Maust.
Betting on youth
MIBR is about to welcome a young American talent in Verno. The 18-year-old already boasts a fine track record, with no fewer than eight first-place finishes in Tier A and Tier B competitions. The most recent success was a 3-0 victory over GEN.G in the SOOP League 2024. The start of 2025 proved a little more complicated for Verno, who finished 7th-8th in the VCT Americas kickoff with NRG on his debut in Tier S competition.
However, he will be able to improve on this result in Split 1 by joining the team of star player Erick “aspas” Santos. With the now newly changed team ready to perform, MIBR is trying to improve on its recent 3rd place in the VCT Americas Kickoff. It remains to be seen whether this change of initiators will enable the Brazilian team to achieve its objectives or not.
