Partizan Esports finished 5th-6th in the Winter Split of the EBL

As previously announced by Sheep Esports, Partizan Esports is merging with the Turkish organization Sangal Esports, which is already active in Counter-Strike, and will continue to compete in the Esports Balkan League (EBL) starting from the Spring Split. Following this development, roster changes will also be made, according to Sheep Esports sources.
Korean toplaner Jang "Chan" Chan-ho will replace Cédric "Eyliph" Robert, Stefan "Stefan" Nikolić will take over the jungle role, and Cho "Whistle" Jong-hwi will strengthen the roster in the midlane following Matteo "Vigil" Scarcelli's departure. The botlane remains unchanged, with Romanian Alexandru "Mihai" Mihai Zamfirache as AD Carry and Igor "Tasteless" Radusinović as support. With these changes, Partizan Sangal aims to finish in the top two of the EBL and secure a spot in the EMEA Masters Spring Split.
A brand new topside
The new toplaner is arguably the least known member of the roster—also the youngest and least experienced. Formerly playing under the name "Songoku" for BNK FearX Academy in the LCK AS, he later renamed himself "Monkey" then Chan. More recently, he competed in Korea’s amateur scene, winning the keG League Championship with his team.
There’s no lack of experience in the jungle, though. Stefan is far from new to the competitive scene—he’s been active since 2016 and previously played alongside his current support, Tasteless. The Serbian jungler notably won the NLC 2023 Summer Split with Nativz, where he teamed up with none other than Vladimiros "Vladi" Kourtidis, now thriving in the LEC with Karmine Corp. Back in 2018, Stefan also won the EBL and reached the EM Spring Quarterfinals with KlikTech before being knocked out 2-0 by MAD Lions E.C.
A return to competitive play
Rounding out the new additions is Whistle, the second Korean on the roster. He too passed through LCK AS, playing for Shadow Corp in 2021 with limited success before heading abroad. In Summer 2023, he joined NASR eSports in the TCL, reaching the finals but falling 3-1 to Istanbul Wildcats. Disappointing EMEA Masters performances followed, and the team placed 7th in Winter 2024. Whistle has been absent from competitive play for almost a year, aside from a brief stint in March with Ground Zero Gaming during the PCS 2025 Split 2 Promotion, where he played three games.
The botlane remains the same
The only two players remaining from the team's struggles during the Winter Split, Mihai and Tasteless will continue to hold down the botlane for the upcoming EBL Spring Split. The 24-year-old Romanian ADC made a name for himself early on in his domestic scene before joining Zero Tenacity in 2021, where he notably won the EBL Season 9 Playoffs. Since then, he has competed in several ERLs, including Spain with ZETA and Germany with Sprout.
Tasteless, alongside his jungler, stands as one of the veterans on this roster. At 27 years old, the Serbian support boasts a long career, including a solid run with Crvena zvezda Esports in 2021 and 2022. A pioneer of the Balkan league, he narrowly missed out on winning EBL Season 1, falling in the final while playing for Greek Regenesis. On that roster, he played not only with Stefan, his current jungler, but also with an ADC who later made it to Europe’s top level: Markos "Comp" Stamkopoulos, who went on to play for Team Vitality and Rogue.
