After being benched by Team Liquid, kamyk quickly finds a new home with Gentle Mates
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Gentle Mates have reached a verbal agreement with Maks "Kamyk" Rychlewski, set to replace Robbie "RobbieBk" Boerkamp on the organizations VCT EMEA roster. After just a few months with Team Liquid, the organization decided to bench the Polish player in favor of Maikls "Serial" Zdanovs. Left without a team, kamyk explored options with other VCT teams before ultimately choosing to join the French organization.
Bangkok Masters, 2025's first international tournament, was rough for Team Liquid — Europe's second seed was eliminated in the Swiss Stage with a 1-2 record. They managed to secure a win against Sentinels but struggled against EDward Gaming and, in their decisive match, suffered a 2-0 loss to G2 Esports. While their opponents in Bangkok were of high caliber, TL's competitive aspirations in VALORANT are far higher than the international group stage.
kamyk was previously part of FNATIC's roster, serving as a sixth man during the 2023 season after short stints with Rebels Gaming and UCAM Esports Club. Although his appearances for FNATIC were rare, he managed to leave a strong impression; kamyk earned a solid competitive reputation ahead of the 2024 season. He eventually joined Joblife in the VCL France and played a full season before falling in the Group Stage at the Ascension tournament. His performance earned him a spot on Team Liquid's roster for the 2025 season.
