Jungler Rudy "SkewMond" Semaan has just reached a verbal agreement with Team BDS Academy to compete in the LFL, according to Sheep Esports sources. While he is not one of the LFL's biggest names, the French jungler is one of the youngest and most promising player of the league. The player received interest from Solary prior to locking with BDSA.

French Prodigy

Throughout 2023, SkewMond made his debut in the main LFL league by competing under the banner of Aegis. During his first split, the player managed to help qualify his team for the EMEA Masters, ultimately progressing to the main event. Despite a somewhat early exit in the group stage, SkewMond consistently delivered impressive performances that exceeded expectations among European audiences.

Despite encountering some challenges in the second split, SkewMond has continued to impress through his SoloQ prowess, reaching a peak of 1773 LP on the EUW SoloQ ladder. Furthermore, he currently holds two accounts within the top 20 SoloQ players of the region, each with over 1500 LP, solidifying his status as the current best SoloQ French jungler. In April, SkewMond also won France's SoloQ Challenge, an event organized by caster and content creator Jean "TraYtoN" Medzadourian.

A stacked roster in the LFL

Earlier this week, Sheep Esports reported the signings of two noteworthy additions to their team: the veteran German coach, Danusch "Arvindir" Fischer, and the star AD Carry, Tim "Keduii" Willers. The addition of SkewMond to the BDS Academy roster underlines their commitment to assembling one of the most formidable line-ups in the league during this off-season.

With their disappointing performance in 2023, BDS is determined to make a strong comeback and is setting their sights on matching or even surpassing their outstanding run in the 2022 Summer season, where they secured second place at the EMEA Masters.
