After lifting x4 EMEA Championship trophies, Saken returns to the LEC
Midlaner Lucas "Saken" Fayard has reached reached an agreement in order to renew with Karmine Corp. The French midlaner will be the starter of the LEC team. He will be leaving the LFL roster now held by Midlaner Vladimiros "Vladi" Kourtidis. The information in this article was told my sources to Sheep Esports.
A significant development is Saken's return to the LEC after a three-year absence. The last time he competed in the LEC was with Team Vitality.
Saken has been a part of Karmine Corp since their entry into the LFL, and in the past three years, he has achieved an impressive feat by winning four EMEA Masters trophies, a record unmatched by any other player in the world.
During the offseason, Karmine Corp did not negotiate with any other Midlaner, despite Saken's contract being set to expire. Both parties have now reached an agreement to renew the contract, this time for the LEC.
Saken's return to the LEC has been highly anticipated, as he had made previous attempts to rejoin the top league in recent years. Last year, Saken went through tryouts with Team Heretics with the goal of becoming their LEC Midlaner. Ultimately, he has now achieved his goal of making a return, this time with his own franchise team.
