After more than two years in Spain, marlon joins the LFL
Support Igor "marlon" Tomczyk has reached a verbal agreement with Team Du Sud in the LFL. Once Movistar KOI releases marlon from his contract, his transfer to the French organization will be completed. This information was shared by sources to Sheep Esports on Monday.
A renewed TDS roster
With this strategic change, Team Du Sud have now completed their roster. The team is set to play the Summer Split with a new botlane, having also changed their AD Carry. Despite a challenging season and finishing ninth place, Team Du Sud had shown promising moments during their first LFL season. With marlon stepping in for Support Théo "HONOR" Magania, TDS is poised to elevate its roster to the next level.
Polska a la playa
marlon will be joining the LFL after playing five splits in Spain. In 2022 and 2023, the Polish player was part of the Team Heretics LVP squad that had reached the Top 4 at EMEA Masters in the Spring of 2023. This year, he joined another Spanish team with Movistar KOI. The team secured playoffs but didn't make it any step further.
However, Marlon won't miss the Spanish sun and beaches, as he's now joining a French organization known for its southern localization and ocean waves. This Hopefully means that he will be fitting right into the team.
We will add this movement to our Transfers Hub shortly after the publication of this article.
