Ici Japon Corp secured their first win of the Spring Split, defeating GameWard
With four matchdays scheduled, the second week of the LFL Spring Split kicked off in a marathon-like fashion on Tuesday. Undefeated during the LFL Days, both Solary and, more surprisingly, Joblife extended their winning streaks by defeating BK ROG — the third team that entered the week at 2–0 — and BDS Academy, respectively. The “team of friends” and JL now jointly lead the group stage. They are followed by BKR and Vitality.Bee, the latter having dispatched Karmine Corp Blue in just 27 minutes to secure its second win of the split.

Five teams currently stand at 1–2 following the third day of competition. Like KCB, Galions suffered a second defeat in the group stage, this time at the hands of Gentle Mates. M8, previously 0–2 heading into the week, finally got on the scoreboard, as did Ici Japon Corp — finalists of both the Flash-In and the EMEA Masters Winter — who claimed victory over GameWard. Outpaced from the early game by IJC, GameWard now remains the only winless team and sits at the bottom of the standings with a 0–3 record.
Revenge is in the air
On Wednesday, the LFL resumes with a match between two teams on opposing trajectories: Joblife, one of the leaders, will face the current bottom seed, GameWard. On paper, two fixtures that appear particularly compelling. Solary will take on Ici Japon Corp, the team that eliminated them from the Flash-In playoffs, in a bid to make it four straight wins. For IJC, the match represents a chance to confirm their resurgence against a confident opponent — though Solary did show signs of vulnerability against BKR in the midgame on Tuesday.
The clash between Galions and Vitality.Bee is also one to watch, especially after the Bees’ dominant display against the reigning champions. As a reminder, the group stage is played in a single round-robin format. After nine best-of-one matches, eight teams will advance to the Swiss Stage, while the bottom two will be relegated to the Last Chance qualifier. In other words, no team will be directly eliminated following this opening phase.
