The LFL now has 3 leaders: Solary, JL, and BKR
The second day of the LFL Days Spring 2025 brought closure to the first week of competition in Evry—and what a way to start the split. From dominant performances to tight, tension-filled clashes, the Grand Paris Sud Arena saw it all. The event is already seen as a great success, bringing light to the power of the French League of Legends scene once more. Driven by many streamers' organizations, the ambiance has been excellent on both days, as a fan and for the players. Now, only BK ROG, Joblife, and Solary stand at the top at 2-0, while others have found their footing—or hit rock bottom.
BK ROG vs Ici Japon Corp
There’s control, and then there’s BKR control. From start to finish, BK ROG dictated the tempo in their second match of the week, dismantling Ici Japon Corp with composed, calculated aggression. Mads "Doss" Schwartz’s Braum set the tone early with reliable engage and peel, while Šimon "OMON" Řiháček’s Ahri and Théo "Booshi" Mouchiroud’s consistent follow-ups overwhelmed IJC’s slower-scaling composition. Enes "Rhilech" Uçan’s Vi played a key role in unlocking the map, diving into the fray with confidence. IJC, which aimed to scale into late-game power, never found the time or space to execute its plan. BK ROG simply never gave it to them.
GameWard vs BDS Academy
It wasn’t pretty, but it was needed. BDS Academy finally claimed their first LFL victory of 2025, outlasting GameWard in a drawn-out match full of swings. The early game was all BDSA, but as the midgame approached, nerves kicked in. A few misplays and hesitations allowed GameWard to hang around longer than expected. Still, when it mattered most, BDSA stepped up. A decisive Elder Dragon and Baron combo past the 30-minute mark sealed the deal. For a squad that had struggled across tournaments in early 2025, this win—messy as it was—could mark a much-needed turning point.
Vitality.Bee vs Joblife
Joblife continues to impress. Their win over Vitality.Bee was less a brawl and more a slow suffocation. From the get-go, JL looked calm, composed, and in sync. A tanky frontline anchored by K’Sante and Karma gave them massive leverage in skirmishes and grouped fights, while Maokai’s objective control ensured they stayed ahead in tempo.
On the other side, Vitality.Bee never looked fully comfortable. Expected to lean on Vincent "Vetheo" Berrié's mechanics, the midlaner struggled to find impact, and his supporting cast—particularly Kadir "Fleshy" Kemiksiz's Elise—couldn’t make the difference. There were no flashy plays, just methodical dominance from JL.
Galions vs Solary
Solary made it two-for-two with another clean, controlled win—this time against Galions. The match never spiraled out of their grasp, showing their win in the Playoffs in Winter split was no luck. From early lane control to smart rotations, Solary kept the pressure on and left no room for Galions to find a foothold. Nicolas "Decay" Gawron was once again the captain, leading the troops towards all fights, while Felix "Kryze" Hellström brought consistent impact from the top lane with his Volibear. Without needing heroics or wild swings, Solary simply played the map better—and it showed in a 32-minute finish that looked like clockwork.
Gentle Mates vs Karmine Corp Blue
In the day’s most dramatic clash, Karmine Corp Blue dug deep to edge out Gentle Mates in a match defined by momentum shifts. Johnny "Yukino" Dang, making his league debut on stage under the spotlight of Karmine fans, had a rocky start throughout the two days of competition. But supported by his team and the unwavering chants of the crowd, he found redemption with his Maokai. Gentle Mates started strong, with clean early skirmishes and strong dragon stacking. But KCB refused to fold. A midgame Baron steal from Yukino breathed new life into the squad, and from there, Seo "SlowQ" Ye-bit’s Azir and Kim "Piero" Jung-hun’s engages flipped the narrative. M8 had their chances—but couldn’t close. In the final moments, KCB claimed both Elder and Baron before storming the base for a hard-fought win.
After two explosive days of play, BK ROG, Joblife, and Solary look like early pace-setters—each finishing the week undefeated with two strong showings. BDSA and KCB, though not perfect, secured crucial victories, one for the first time in 2025, the other at home in front of its chanting fans. For everyone, it for sure will surely be an event to remember.
