Project Conquerors is off to a new start. Ninth in the spring split of the LFL Division 2, the structure will present itself in the summer with four new elements. Jungler Mátyás "Frost" Mátyus, midlaner Erkan "Envy Carry" Şenol, ad carry Rahand "RustySniper" Akram and support Emilien "Nsurr" Gergaud have thus reached a verbal agreement with PCS, according to Sheep Esports sources. Clément "BewBiou" Saunier, who was due to become a free agent at the end of the spring split, will finally be continuing his adventure on the Project Conquerors toplane, according to our sources.

The Frenchman still has things to show for himself: he earned his place in Div2 this year after an excellent season in the lower echelons of the Mastercard Nexus Tour. Bewbiou put in one good performance after another, winning four stages of the MNT with Elyandra. Things then got complicated when he joined Project Conquerors : PCS had started its spring segment 0-4 and ended it 3-15. On top of that, the team had been turned upside down by the departure of Steven "Senpai"Guss Esber Spier in very unusual circumstances, and PCS had logically replaced his ad carry in the middle of the season.

Time for a reunion

The quintet didn't work out any better, due to a lack of "synergy in the team", admitted the player on X last March. With Frost in the jungle, Bewbiou will perhaps be able to draw on their shared experience to create the foundations of that synergy. The two players shared a few months in the Summoner's Rift at the beginning of 2022 in the MNT with MS Company. The Hungarian then left to discover an ERL 1 by joining the Balkan League (EBL) before returning to MS at the start of the 2023 spring split to play in Div2. More recently, the jungler played for Dynamo Eclot in the Hitpoint Masters. The results were not as good as expected, with an 8th and last place finish.

On the midlane, Envy Carry is a familiar name to the French public. In the early days of his career, the player played alongside various personalities from Solary or Team du Sud in show matches. The German was also quick to join the elite of the ERL circuit, playing in the Prime League at an early stage and then joining the PG Nationals in Italy. Envy Carry continued his European tour by playing in the EBL in spring 2023 and then in the Northern League (NLC) the following summer. Last January, he moved to GLORE to officiate in a fifth ERL, the Hitpoint Masters. This stint enabled him to qualify for the first EMEA Masters of his career, although the midlaner did not make it past the play-in round. On paper, this more than experienced profile would appear to be an asset for PCS.

MNT products

The two men from the botlane have had similar careers. RustySniper and Nsurr both cut their teeth in the French third division before moving on to the upper echelons abroad. The Swedish ad carry has been playing on the Nordic circuit since 2022 and won the NLC 2 in spring 2023 with THUNDR Esports. His two splits in the first division of the NLC were less conclusive (8th in the summer of 2023, 7th in the spring of 2024) but he too has a certain amount of experience. For his part, Nsurr won the LPLOL (Portugal) at the start of 2023 to earn his first appearance at the EMEA Masters. After dropping down to the lower division in Prime League 2 last spring, the Frenchman has recently been playing in the Arabian League. He too had mixed results, finishing 7th in the AL spring split with One More Esports.
