The beginning of a new chapter
Danusch "Arvindir" Fischer is joining the Bees. According to Sheep Esports sources, the German coach has his sights set on Vitality.Bee (VITB) for the 2025 LFL season as they kickstart a new project. Arvindir had a very dominant 2024 under the Team BDS Academy (BDSA) banner.
Coming into the year with a full rebuild, the team came out swinging with a 15-3 spring season record in the LFL and a second-place finish in playoffs. BDSA were still a strong contender for EMEA Masters Spring, topping their group with a 5-1 record and narrowly losing a close five-game series against Beşiktaş Esports in the semifinals.
Summer showed an even more dominant BDS Academy, only dropping a single game in the regular season and making a lower bracket comeback to defeat Karmine Corp Blue in the Summer finals. BDSA cruised through EMEA Summer, going 4-1 in the Swiss Stage, and disposed of every opponent with ease in the Knockout Stage in 4 games or less to take first place and the EMEA Masters trophy.
Back to square one
Hoping to replicate his success in 2025, Arvindir will be taking the reins on a new project at VITB. The team had produced solid results in 2024, placing top 4 in both LFL splits and finishing second at EMEA Masters Summer. However, with solo laners Kaan "Naak Nako" Okan and Mateusz "Czajek" Czajka set to promote to Team Vitality’s LEC lineup and other players likely going elsewhere, their academy team aims to rebuild under the direction of a coach who just dominated 2024 with similar circumstances. Vitality are still waiting to see if their LEC midlaner Vincent "Vetheo" Berrié will remain in the org or look to a different team in the LFL. One thing is for sure, only time will tell if lighting will strike twice for Arvindir and the new Vitality.Bee.
