KC and G2 share the Team of the Week
The first week of the LEC Winter Split 2025 Playoffs has come to an end. G2 and Karmine Corp stood out by winning both of their BO3s and, unsurprisingly, dominate this week’s Team of the Week. The lineup features Sergen "BrokenBlade" Çelik in the toplane, Rudy "SkewMond" Semaan in the jungle, Vladimiros "Vladi" Kourtidis in the midlane, Steven "Hans Sama" Liv as AD Carry, and Raphaël "Targamas" Crabbé as support, Targamas also takes the MVP title for the week.
Top: BrokenBlade
Back-to-back appearances for BrokenBlade in the Team of the Week. After a strong Week 3 in the regular season, the German keeps proving he's the best toplaner in the league. His off-meta picks first caught GiantX off guard before helping him dismantle longtime rivals Fnatic in the upper bracket. He pulled out Warwick against GX—the champion’s first appearance in a major league since 2017—then followed up with Swain and another Warwick pick against Fnatic in Game 2, completely dominating the lane against Óscar "Oscarinin" Muñoz Jiménez’s Ambessa while showcasing incredible survivability in fights thanks to the sustain from both champions.
Jungle: SkewMond
First-ever Team of the Week appearance for SkewMond, just four weeks into his LEC debut—and the rookie’s potential is already undeniable. He’s currently the only jungler in Europe playing Pantheon, and so far, it’s working wonders. He held his own against Iván "Razork" Martín Díaz and even outsmited him in Game 1, securing the Atakhan for his team, which turned the fight in their favor, brought them back in gold, and ultimately led to their victory. The French jungler is finding his footing at G2, building an impressive synergy with his teammates and pulling off clutch plays for his team.
Mid: Vladi
It seems Vladi is far from hitting his ceiling, contrary to what some believed. His performance this week was nothing short of exceptional, starting with a masterful Azir game where his side lane play completely disoriented Vitality. He then followed up with a dominant showing against Joseph Joon "Jojopyun" Pyun, outclassing him in midlane on an unkillable Taliyah (2/0/7, 75% kill participation). Vladi’s ability to control the pace of the game and consistently make impact plays has been crucial for KC, who have now secured a top-three finish. The Greek midlaner continues to prove he belongs among the best in Europe, and with the way he's been improving, it’s clear he’s nowhere near his limit yet.
AD Carry: Hans Sama
Like the rest of G2, Hans Sama keeps improving week after week, making his inclusion in this Team of the Week a natural choice—joining two of his teammates in the lineup. The French ADC showcased his versatility, playing Sivir twice, Kalista once, and most notably delivering a standout performance on Ezreal, where G2 won a crucial 4v5 and Hans barely missed a single skill shot. While his synergy with Labros "Labrov" Papoutsakis is still developing, the G2 bot lane continues to get the job done. Hans Sama once again proves his consistency and reminds everyone why he has been the best European AD carry in recent years.
Support: Targamas (MVP)
The Belgian support has made a remarkable comeback. After a tough 2024 season with Karmine, Targamas 2025 looks like a completely different player, delivering back-to-back stellar performances. He started the week strong against Vitality, posting a flawless 0/0/14 Braum game with 100% kill participation in Game 1, before following up with a playmaking Nautilus, relentlessly engaging to help KC secure victory in their French derby. His second BO of the week against Movistar KOI was just as impressive. He kicked things off with an early double kill on KOI’s bot lane with his Poppy at the four-minute mark, then followed it up with an unkillable Renata Glasc, participating in all 15 of KC’s kills. This weekend, Targamas was simply unstoppable, earning a more than deserved MVP of the Week title and silencing all his critics in style.
