Lots of disappointment regarding the lack of tickets available for Worlds
It took little time for the first wave of 2024 League of Legends World Championship tickets to be fully sold out this Tuesday morning. Wave 1 of Play-in, Swiss stage as well as Quarter Finals and Semi Finals are now sold out on the official website. This mean that every match before November 2 - day of the finals - has little to no ticket left on Riot's official website.
While many managed to grab tickets for the playoffs in the Adidas Arena in Paris (8000 places), the 200 places the LEC studio has to offer in Berlin appeared to be far from enough for an event that is so awaited. Many fans reported 10k+ waiting queue just to get to the website, something that reminds of 2019 where the sale of tickets suffered same issues.
A wave 2 is planned
As usual for this sort of events, some tickets may be restocked one by one in the future hours. Additionally, another wave is planned in August 21 with other tickets to grab for all stages with the exception of the finals, which are still to be opened to buy. As Riot Games officially announced, the price range will remain the same for the second wave of tickets. As for London finals, set in the O2 Arena, Riot Games has still not announced anything about the ticketing, neither the price nor the dates of the sale.
