Team Liquid and Top Esports are now tied in the standings with a 1-1 record
A second stomp by an Asian team against a Western team today, after CTBC Flying Oyster defeated Karmine Corp, Top Esports takes down Team Liquid in a one-sided BO3. The two teams are now tied in the overall standings, following TL's win over KC yesterday and TES's loss to Hanwha Life Esports. Seo "Kanavi" Jin-hyeok delivered an excellent performance in both games on Vi and Pantheon, making up for his underwhelming BO3 yesterday against HLE.

Game 1 was quite bloody, with a total of 36 kills, but it was the topside of TES that performed the best. Bai "369" Jia-Hao completely outplayed his opponent, finishing the game deathless with an 8/0/9 scoreline. Kanavi also made a strong comeback after his poor performance yesterday, going 10/0/8 on Vi and consistently looming over the TL players with his presence. The second game was even easier for the Chinese team, with Lin "Creme" Jian dominating his matchup against Eain "APA" Stearns' Hwei on Sylas, securing an impressive solo kill under the tower. Kanavi also carried this game on his Pantheon, contributing to 17 out of the 23 kills secured by TES. The Korean jungler finally found his form, showing a level of play similar to what he displayed during the LPL Split 1.
In the press conference, when asked about yesterday's loss, Creme said: "After yesterday's loss, the thing that changed the most was our priority in pick and bans." TES are returning to their level and are aiming to go all the way and win the first edition of the First Stand.
