According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Zachary "ZachKappa" Neal is reportedly the fourth locked player for KOI Academy in the VCL Spain for 2025. This makes him the fourth confirmed player on the roster, signaling that KOI's transfer market activity is nearing its conclusion as they prepare to embark on their first competitive season with their academy team.

More oriented as a duelist and sentinel, the player is joining the Spanish league for the first time after competing in the VALORANT Challengers 2024 East with Chipi Chapa's earlier this year. It was the player's first year participating in a B-Tier league. Despite this, he finished second in the first split but was defeated twice 2-0 in the playoffs of the second split, ultimately placing 5th overall.

He now joins the roster of KOI Academy, which will begin its first split in 2025. The player will represent a club consistently aiming for top-tier results across all its projects. With an entire fanbase rallying behind him, the question remains whether he has what it takes to become a potential prospect for the VCT EMEA circuit. Next year marks the first time Riot Games allows teams to establish their academies, and KOI is among the three organizations that have embraced this initiative so far, alongside Karmine Corp and Team Liquid.
