At only 19 years old, Minny joins the VCT EMEA
According to sources at Sheep Esports, Gentle Mates has reached a verbal agreement with Patrik "Minny" Hušek for the upcoming VCT EMEA season. The Gentle Mates new player was also a high priority for Movistar KOI which did not get the last word in the end although the offers from the Spanish team were good for the player. He was also considered an option by Karmine Corp at some point despite being less involved in the discussions overall.
The Czech player will be the second non-French player in the history of the club after Robbie “RobbieBk” Boerkamp announcement two days ago, confirming Gentle Mates direction to go international.
At 19 years old, Minny has had a very successful year winning both splits with GoNext Esports, a greek organization playing in VALORANT Challengers 2024 East Surge. Very good on Cypher and Killjoy, he even took a part of the Ascension tournament but didn't manage to get out of groups after a disappointing 2-2 results. It is to be noted he also was a professional Fortnite player for Enterprise Esports between 2019 and 2021.
Minny is Gentle Mates third recruits of the offseason. Indeed, the team founded by Lucas “Squeezie” Hauchard, Corentin “Gotaga” Houssein and Kevin “Brawks” Georges also has a new coach, Alex “Goked” Kie, as previously reported by Sheep Esports.
