Twiizt is the first player locked by Joblife
It didn't take long for Joblife to secure its second player. After agree with diplex in the midlane, the club, which has just joined the LFL, has reached a verbal agreement with support player Elton "Twiizt" Richie Garcia Spetsig. The Swedish player will be returning to France, where he previously competed for two years.
Despite starting his career in 2019, Twiizt arguably enjoyed some of his best moments in France when he joined Team Oplon midway through 2021. During his time with them, he helped the team secure the Summer Split title, which promoted them to the LFL. Back then, Twiizt was still playing midlane, teaming up with none other than Martin "Yike" Sundelin, whose impressive career trajectory is now widely recognized. Despite his success, Twiizt did not follow Oplon immediately to the LFL, as they chose not to retain him. However, after a rough Spring Split where they finished in 10th place, Oplon brought him back, this time in the support role. Unfortunately, the switch didn’t improve the team’s results, and they finished 9th in the Summer Split. At the end of the year, the organization handed over its spot to IziDream, and Twiizt was kept for the 2023 Spring Split, though they again placed 10th.
Twiizt then moved to the NLC for Summer 2023, joining Nativz alongside Vladimiros "Vladi" Kourtidis, where he went on to win the split title. This victory gave him his first chance to compete in the EMEA Masters, where his team narrowly missed out on reaching the quarterfinals. Following this strong finish to the year, Twiizt changed leagues again, signing with Schalke 04 Esports in the Prime League. Throughout 2024, he helped Schalke to a 6th-place finish in Spring and an impressive 2nd place in the Summer Split.
The second stone laid in Joblife’s future
The JL team has discovered its second gem, laying the foundation for a roster they must build despite entering the transfer market late. With the quick signing of their support player, following midlaner Dimitri "Diplex" Ponomarev's reported verbal agreement with the club as reported by Sheep Esports, there’s hope that JL is also in advanced talks with other players.
