tomaszy have won the EMEA Kick-Off in March with Karmine Corp
According to Sheep Esports sources and as first reported by Rocket Bullets, Tomás "tomaszy" Machado will be a part of GIANTX's main roster for the 2025 season of the VCT EMEA, VALORANT's regional league. The player has had a mixed season with the Blue Wall in 2024. He started the season in the best possible way, surprising everyone by winning the EMEA Kick-Off in March with Karmine Corp, after a streak of 58 victories in scrims.
At just 19 years old, the young Portuguese player's career has taken off at lightning speed. He began in mid-2022, competing in Portugal's Elite circuit, where he nearly swept the competition. The following year, he naturally advanced to the Challengers circuit in Portugal with SAW, winning both splits. Although he fell to Gentle Mates in the Ascension tournament that year, he still made it to the VCT EMEA by joining Karmine Corp's roster.
GX locked their entire roster
Despite a decent Champions run in 2023, GIANTX struggled throughout 2024. Failing to qualify for playoffs for both Stage 1 and 2 sent the organization into an early offseason, trying to rebuild in hopes of another Champions Tournament appearance. tomaszy's move to GIANTX ended the team's offseason.
GIANTX’s reported 2025 VCT EMEA roster:
- Kirill "Cloud" Nekhozhin
- Semyon "purp0" Borchev
- Miłosz "westside" Duda
- Emil "runneR" Trajkovski
