The team has been given another chance!
Following large changes in the LVP SuperLiga participants, Guasones, a team founded by football player Rubén García, will be re-invited to play in the league's 1st Division in 2024, according to Sheep Esports sources.
Per information disclosed to our editors, the league is currently expected to say its goodbyes to three of its former participants, whose names are currently undisclosed.
Another Chance
While this news may cast a shadow on Guasones' return to the 1st Division, the prospect of the organization's return proves to be an exciting one. Winning the first division in 2022, the team originally joined this year by beating Case Esports in the 2023 promotion tournament.
In their second year of existence, the team unfortunately failed to meet expectations and finished in back-to-back 10th place in the SuperLiga. While coming close to naturally re-qualifying via the relegation tournament, the team eventually fell at the hands of Wizards.
Through this twist of fate, the organization will now find itself back in the SuperLiga and will attempt to redeem its unfortunate 2023 season. In the past, the team previously competed along several high profile players such as the former LEC players Jonas "Memento" Elmarghichi and Ronaldo "Ronaldo" Betea.
For Guasones, there is nowhere to go but up.
