The Emperor of Shurima has been dethroned. According to Sheep Esports sources, Karmine Corp considered bringing back Lucas “Saken” Fayard after trying him out with their academy team for the upcoming LFL season. However, the "Légende du Club ©" will not be returning to the KCB midlane next year. Instead, the organization has chosen a new player, Seo “SlowQ” Ye-bit. Still according to our information, 2024 KCB midlaner Felix “Abbedagge” Braun was not considered by the team and has not yet found a project for next season.

SlowQ, who holds both South Korean and Swedish nationalities, is therefore the fourth player of the 2025 KCB roster, after Volodymyr “Maynter” Sorokin, Mehdi "Boukada" Lahlou and Thomas "Exakick" Foucou, as previously reported by Sheep Esports. The midlaner was originally set to join Macko Esports in the LIT next season but has decided to renounce in order to join Karmine Corp Blue instead. SlowQ is no stranger to the Italian league, having competed there last season with Dsyre.

He won the Spring Split championship, defeating Macko in the final. This victory earned him a spot at the EMEA Masters, where he faced KCB and Vladimiros “Vladi” Kourtidi in Group B. Fresh off their LFL championship win, Karmine Corp Blue came out on top in both encounters, despite SlowQ's commendable performance on Corki in the first game.

Intertwined Fates

SlowQ's story with Macko continued in the Summer Split, where Dsyre once again reached the LIT final, but this time fell to their local rivals. At the summer EMEA Masters, with a new Swiss round format opening the Main Event, SlowQ and Dsyre impressed. In a meta that favored midlane AD champions, SlowQ shone on picks like Tristana and Lucian, helping his team qualify for the playoffs with a flawless 4-0 record. However, fate intervened again in the quarter-finals, as Macko eliminated Dsyre, just as they had done a month earlier in the LIT final.

Interestingly, Dsyre’s 2024 season mirrors that of KCB in many ways. Karmine Corp Blue also reached the finals of both LFL splits in 2024, both times facing the same opponent: BDS Academy. Like Dsyre, Karmine won the Spring final but lost the Summer one. Similarly, KCB was eliminated of the summer EMEA Masters by their domestic rivals. With so many parallels, it seems that SlowQ and KCB were destined to unite.
