The 18yo rookie will make his first entry in a major ERL!
Support Mohamed "Myrtus" Rahli has reached a verbal agreement with Solary in the LFL, according to Sheep Esports sources. The player will be given his first shot in an accredited ERL first division after competing 1 year in the LFL 2nd Division.
A Meteoric Rise
Having recently made his competitive debut earlier this year, Myrtus stands out as one of the freshest talents to step into the world of professional play, having celebrated his 18th birthday earlier this month. In his brief time in the LFL Division 2, this rising star achieved an impressive 2nd place finish in the league, only losing to Team Du Sud, who secured their promotion to the LFL after relegating Izi Dream.
The player has garnered the attention of multiple teams this off-season. Due to strong performances in regular SoloQ and tryouts, the player has impressed many recruiters and has remained as one of the most sought-after rookies on the market throughout negotiations for the 2024 season.
Per our sources, Myrtus has also been offered spots in BK ROG Esports, Movistar Riders, and SK Gaming Prime. With the freedom to choose his own team, the Franco-Italian player chose Solary as his new home over other teams following a desire to compete in the LFL.
This move will mark Myrtus' spiritual return to Solary as he previously competed for one of the organization's academic teams named "Royals". The player competed with said team during the 2022 Season in the Mastercard Nexus Tour (MNT).
Per the player's profile, he has first hit Challenger in 2021 at the age of 15 and has held his position among Europe's top players on the ladder ever since. In addition to this, Myrtus also finished as the best performing support player in France's SoloQ Challenge, an event hosted by caster and content creator Jean "TraYtoN" Medzadourian.
