Jungler Linas "Lyncas" Nauncikas has reached a verbal agreement with Karmine Corp Academy to rejoin the LFL under the condition that the player is not presented with any LEC or LCS offers, according to Sheep Esports sources. With this move, the organization now only lacks a support to conclude its 2024 iterations. Reportedly, Jakub "Cinkrof" Rokicki was also considered for the position.

Another Year in the LFL

Despite receiving large interests from professional leagues, the Lithuanian player has now reached a potential verbal agreement with Karmine Corp to represent its LFL team in the scenario in which Lyncas would not find a LEC or LCS team prior to the start of the 2024 season. According to sources and per previous reports, the player is known to have received interest from FlyQuest in the LCS, Excel Esports in the LEC, and Karmine Corp's LEC squad. Sources inform Sheep Esports that the player has also been in talks with several other teams in both of the aforementioned leagues.

If this move pans out, Lyncas will be set to begin his second year in the prestigious French ERL. After competing with Team GO last year in 2023, the player is looking towards new horizons following the team's signing of Mehdi "Boukada" Lahlou.

Along with GO, Lyncas achieved great results in the latest competitive season. During the spring split, the player managed to reach a 2nd place finish in the LFL, claiming a spot at the EMEA Masters. Unfortunately, GO would eventually falter in the tournament's quarterfinals.

Later, in summer, GO would finish in 3rd position. Powering through the EMEA Masters Play-In tournament, the team would eventually reach EMEA Masters semifinals, only losing to the tournament's eventual champions (Karmine Corp) in a 5-game series. To close out the season, GO would also emerge as champions of the LFL's Coupe de France.

Fresh Blood for Karmine Corp

With 4 members having found agreements with the team, KCorp now aims to lock its squad and prepare for the coming LFL split. With the organization's recent arrival in the LEC, the team is now looking at all new opportunities as it looks to compete in two leagues at once for the first time in its history.

As most former Karmine Corp players are rumored to be promoted to the org's LEC roster, the French team has been relentless in its off-season to find new members to join its LFL squad. Having won the league twice and earned itself 4 EMEA Masters titles, KCorp is now aiming to reciprocate its past results with an all-new line-up.

Earlier this off-season, Karmine Corp officially confirmed the renewal of their star AD Carry, Caliste "Caliste" Henry-Hennebert, who will be joining the team in the LFL following the LEC's introduction of a new minimum age requirement of 18, which Caliste does not meet. The AD Carry is currently set to be the only remaining member of the championship winning Karmine Corp team in the LFL.

Prior to locking in Lyncas, sources indicate that Karmine Corp tried to reach an agreement with its former jungler Jakub "Cinkrof" Rokicki. Reportedly the Polish jungler denied an offer from the team 2 days which lead to the signing of the Lithuanian jungler.
