After spending summer split on the bench at C9, Fudge will join for SR's sophomore split.
Ibrahim "Fudge" Allami is set to join Shopify Rebellion in the LCS, per sources of Sheep Esports. On Oct. 1, Shopify announced the departure of Aaron "Fakegod" Lee, their starting top laner for the 2024 season, and Sheep Esports later reported the departures of jungler Lee "Bugi" Seong-yeop and support Tristan "Zeyzal" Stidam.
Since 2020, Fudge has played exclusively under the Cloud9 banner — first in Academy, and then in LCS starting in 2021. After Spring split, when Cloud9 acquired Park "Thanatos" Seung-gyu, a 20-year-old top lane phenom from the LCK Challengers League, Fudge moved to a substitute position.
In the organization's debut season in the LCS, SR only managed back-to-back 7th-place finishes, narrowly missing out on playoffs both times. However, the team rallied in the latter half of the Summer split after Bugi returned to the roster from a coaching stint. Ju "Bvoy" Yeong-hoon earned a place on the All-Pro first team in Spring, but wasn't able to match that performance in Summer.
Building on its successes from 2024, Fudge is the first new piece of Shopify's 2025 roster — the organization is looking to bring together stronger players in hopes of competing as a top team next year. As the team finalizes its decisions in the offseason, Sheep Esports will continue to report on any changes, and you can use our Transfers Hub to keep up to date.
