BDSA locked a very experienced Head Coach to guide their young roster
Head Coach Edward "Edward" Abgaryan is set to join BDS Academy (BDSA) in the LFL, according to sources close to Sheep Esports. He has also been in discussions with Vitality. While most of the roster is now established, Edward's task will be to guide BDSA toward their next goal: helping these emerging talents grow together and become worthy successors to the legendary 2024 super team. He was also considered by Ici Japon Corp which recently joined the LFL.
A successful leader
Edward (previously known as "GoSu Pepper") is a well-known figure in League of Legends esports, primarily famous for his role as a support player. He’s originally from Armenia and is especially recognized for his time with Gambit Gaming (formerly Moscow Five). Edward earned a reputation as a top support player, forming powerful duos with some of the best ADCs in both the CIS and European regions. With Gambit and Unicorns of Love, he went four times to the World Championship.
Edward officially transitioned to the coaching role in 2023 with RA'AD in the Arabian League, before joining Geekay Esports in 2024. His impact as a coach was immediate: he led Geekay Esports to victory in the Summer Split and secured a second-place finish in the Spring Split. Under his leadership, Geekay Esports became the first team in Arabian League history to reach the semifinals of the EMEA Masters during the Spring Split. This historic achievement included an impressive upset against Karmine Corp Blue, the most dominant organization with a strong track record in the competition. Edward’s coaching success has not only elevated Geekay Esports but has also brought significant attention to the Arabian League, showcasing the potential of teams from emerging regions.
A young team
To nurture and develop their young roster, BDS Academy have placed their trust in an experienced leader with a proven record of success.
