DenVoksne will make his return to the LVP SL!
Bot Laner Nikolaj Asbjorn "DenVoksne" Meilby has reached a verbal agreement with Case Esports to join the LVP SuperLiga, according to Sheep Esports sources. Among other choices, the organization considered former Zero Tenacity South Korean AD Carry Yoon "Ice" Sang-hoon before settling with the Danish player.
A Return to the SuperLiga
This move marks the return of the former three-time NLC champion to the Spanish ERL. Before reaching an agreement with CASE, DenVoksne's last appearance in the league was with MAD Lions Madrid in the spring of 2022, where the team finished in 9th place. In addition to his achievements with teams like Nativz, Dusty, and Ruddy Esports, DenVoksne also participated with Karmine Corp in the LFL's Coupe de France in October.
Case Esports has now locked its full roster and is readied up for the upcoming competitive year. As reported earlier this month, the team expects to field André "Guilhoto" Pereira Guilhoto as its head coach, along with assistant coach Jose "F1RE" Maria Iznardo, boasting one of the league's strongest coaching staffs on paper.
To accompany the Danish AD Carry, the team has also made the acquisition of former Fnatic support player Rúben "Rhuckz" Barbosa. This will mark the first time that the veteran Portuguese support will be paired with DenVoksne.
The Spanish organization, led by football player Casemiro, is expected to make a splash in the league after reverse-sweeping its way to the SuperLiga's 1st division in September. With ambitious goals, CASE will be a team to keep an eye on during 2024.
