German Mid Laner Abbedagge Joins Karmine Corp Blue.
Mid-laner Felix "Abbedagge" Braun has reached a verbal agreement with Karmine Corp to compete in the LFL, sources tell Sheep Esports on Tuesday. Following the promotion of Vladimiros "Vladi" Kourtidis to the organization's main roster, the German player is now set to take over the spot left by Vladi.
Per sources, despite receiving interest from other teams, notably Team GO, Abbedagge rejected all other offers to compete with Karmine Corp. The player did not take part in the organization's LEC tryouts, though he was their first option for their academic team as he presented the ideal profile for them.
Return to Pro Play
Despite decent performances with EXCEL in the LEC last year, 24-year-old mid-laner Abbedagge found himself teamless heading into the 2024 season. Having previously been at the very top of Europe, the player is now set to rejoin professional play by competing with Karmine Corp Blue in the LFL.
This move comes as a direct result of the promotion of rookie mid-laner Vladi, who will be joining the main roster of Karmine Corp within the LEC. Abbedagge will begin playing for the organization in the upcoming Summer Season.
In the past, the German mid-laner attended the World Championship on two occasions and competed both in Europe and North America. Amusingly, he previously also competed with Turkish jungler Can "Closer" Çelik, who was also confirmed to be joining the organization, albeit under another division. Abbedagge is most known for his time in Schalke 04 and 100 Thieves.
For now, details on Karmine Corp Blue's other positions remain unknown, though it was already confirmed that the team's jungler Linas "Lyncas" Nauncikas will be leaving the organization to play for Team Vitality in the LEC.
