Los Heretics (LH) continue to dominate the Superliga, securing a 3-1 victory against the newly promoted Veni Vidi Vici (VVV) in the Upper Bracket Final of the Superliga 2025 Winter Playoffs, played in a BO5 Fearless Draft. The LH botlane, featuring Khalil "Rin" Sahraoui and Norman "Kaiser" Kaiser, stood out throughout the series, consistently gaining a gold advantage in lane. The Algerian AD Carry was named MVP of the match. It was a tough series for VVV and Ismael "Miniduke" Martínez Cortés, who managed to secure only four kills while dying 18 times across the four games.

Acper "Daglas" Dagiel's adaptation in Spain is going well so far. The 19-year-old Polish jungler is performing solidly and is determined to regain his place in the top tier of the European League of Legends. In the fourth game, which lasted only 21 minutes, Daglas remained deathless on his Skarner, contributing to two-thirds of his team's kills. After this victory, Los Heretics secured their spot in the Grand Final of the Superliga, sending VVV to the Lower Bracket Final to face the winner of GIANTX Pride vs. Barça eSports. The team, which was just a few months ago in Spain's second division, has made an impressive rise while keeping the same five players, finishing 3rd in the regular season.

Chasing a third consecutive Superliga title

After a successful 2024 in the Superliga, with wins in both the Spring and Summer splits and a solid run to the semifinals at the EMEA Masters Summer, Los Heretics are not stopping there. Despite a complete roster overhaul, they are on track to secure their third consecutive title. Additionally, their semifinal finish at the EMEA Masters in Spring 2023 and Summer 2024 partly contributed to Riot Games granting the Superliga two slots for the upcoming event—a privilege shared only with the LFL (France) and PL (Germany), while all other ERLs will only have one representative at the EMEA Masters Spring 2025.
