Paris Saint-Germain has officially concluded its partnership with Talon Esports
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Talon Esports have officially concluded their partnership in the League of Legends esports scene. This collaboration, which began in June 2020, saw the formation of PSG Talon, a team that achieved significant success in the Pacific Championship Series (PCS). Notably, PSG Talon secured multiple PCS titles and represented the region at international events, including four Mid-Season Invitational and four World Championship in a row.
The decision to end the partnership was announced on January 5, 2025. Talon Esports will thus continue to compete in the League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP) under the name "Talon" retaining their slot in the league.
The conclusion of this partnership marks the end of a notable chapter in the League of Legends esports landscape, as PSG Talon was one of the few collaborations between a traditional sports club and an esports organization. The team's achievements during this period have left a lasting impact on the competitive scene in the Asia-Pacific region.
