Baus named Rookie of the Split in his first professional season
Simon "Baus" Hofverberg made a huge impact during his first professional split with Los Ratones. As the only player coming from a streaming background rather than traditional esports, he quickly became a fan favorite. Known for his signature Sion toplane picks and his unique, innovative death-loop strategy, Baus showcased a creative and unconventional approach to the game.
Despite his non-traditional entry into the competitive scene, he adapted seamlessly to team play and consistently delivered standout performances, ultimately earning him the prestigious title of Rookie of the Split in the Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC).
Qualified for Grand Final
Out of the twelve games played in the regular season, Baus and Los Ratones suffered only a single loss, showcasing their dominance throughout the competition. The versatile toplaner displayed his adaptability by shifting his playstyle to match the needs of his team.

Notably, he featured Sion in four games, winning all of them, and finished with an "impressive" KDA of 11/28/20 across the matches. Los Ratones now look ahead to the NLC grand final, where they will face the winner of the upcoming match between NORD Esports, whom they recently defeated 3-1, and Bulldog Esports, whom they also triumphed over with a dominant 2-0 victory earlier in the playoffs.
