LTA North and South will not face each other in this split
The LTA North returns on April 5th at 1 PM PST / 10 PM CET with Team Liquid against FlyQuest in the opening match. For Split 2, NA teams will not face South teams as they did for the previous one. The first stage of the split will last 3 weeks and will be played in BO1. After week 3, teams will be split into two groups of four, constructed in a snake system. Then comes the group phase, which will be played entirely in BO3 and will determine who faces whom during the Cross Group Battles. The top two teams of each group play each other for seeding, while the bottom two teams play elimination matches. The top six teams qualify for the Playoffs, with the top four teams starting in the upper bracket and the 5th and 6th starting in the lower bracket.
The week will kick off with a rematch of the Summer 2024 final, as Team Liquid takes on FlyQuest, followed by Shopify Rebellion going head-to-head with Dignitas. Next, 100 Thieves will square off against Cloud9, setting the stage for an exciting series of matchups. To wrap up the first day, the bottom two teams from the Winter Split, LYON and Disguised, will face each other at 4 PM PST in what promises to be an intense showdown.

The winner of each conference will be crowned Conference Champions and earn a spot at the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) in Vancouver (Canada) later this year. The winner of the North Conference will advance directly to the main stage of MSI, while the LTA South champion will have to go through the Play-In. Tickets are already on sale here, and the teams have planned several stands and activities on-site.
