With Keria's signing through 2026, he becomes the second player from the ZOFGK lineup confirmed to stay with T1, following Faker
One of the most anticipated announcements in Korea was made official just hours ago this Thursday: Ryu "Keria" Min-seok will continue as T1's support next year. The organization shared on social media that he has signed a multi-year deal, extending his contract through the end of 2026.
Fans of the world’s most decorated League of Legends team, T1, can sigh relief as Keria re-signs with the squad. The young, charismatic support player has become a beloved face of an organization that has proven it can overcome any challenge when they play as a team. With Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok already under contract through 2025, T1 is now assured of keeping at least two of the five players who led them to back-to-back World Championships in 2023 and 2024.
What about ZOG?
Last year, T1 unveiled their full lineup in a single teaser video, announcing that the entire world champion roster of ZOFGK would stick together for the 2024 season. This time, Keria’s contract extension was announced solo. While some fans see this as merely practical—especially as Keria fulfills a short military service requirement (from which he received partial exemption after winning gold at the 2023 Asian Games)—others speculate that negotiating with the full roster at once is proving challenging, with Choi "Zeus" Woo-je, Mun "Oner" Hyeon-jun, and Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyung yet to sign. But these are only speculations.
In a video message, Keria explained that his choice to stay with T1 was intentional and aligned with his hopes to achieve personal goals. At just 22, and now among an elite group of only 10 players in League of Legends history to have won two World Championships, he seems determined to help T1 reclaim dominance in the LCK after letting a few splits slip to rivals Gen.G and Hanwha Life. Indeed, Keria’s record holds a surprising anomaly: he only won a single LCK title in Spring 2022—the first split played by the ZOFGK lineup.
