The second day of EMEA Masters has concluded, with four teams securing their spots for the playoffs: Papara SuperMassive (SUP), Ici Japon Corp Esport (IJC), Los Heretics (LH), and Karmine Corp Blue (KCB). Meanwhile, four others have been eliminated: Zero Tenacity (Z10), Crvena Zvezda Esports (CZV), FlameHard, and NightBirds. The final group stage matches occur this Wednesday, determining the last four teams advancing to the Knockout Stage.

In Group A, after their loss on Monday, Barça eSports bounced back on Tuesday with a 2-0 win over Z10, eliminating them from the tournament. They will now face Geekay (GK) in a decisive rematch for a spot in the Knockout Stage. GK, on the other hand, fell 2-0 to SUP, with a standout performance from İrfan Berk "Armut" Tükek, who finished the series with a combined 16/0/18 scoreline.

Team Phantasma eliminated CZV from the tournament after a hard-fought BO3 and will now face Berlin International Gaming in a last-chance match. BIG fell to IJC on Tuesday, as the French second seed proved superior, with Lee "Hans SamD" Jae-hoon continuing to deliver strong performances.

LH and KCB to Playoffs

Los Heretics secured their playoff spot by defeating Macko Esports. Despite a tightly contested Game 1 that lasted just under 50 minutes, the Superliga champions sent MCK to the lower bracket. There, they will face ZennIT, who survived the elimination match against FlameHard, knocking them out of the tournament.

Tuesday’s most anticipated match went in favor of Karmine Corp Blue. In a grueling 53-minute Game 1, KCB managed to overcome Los Ratones, who had gained an early lead, largely thanks to Veljko "Velja" Čamdžić’s Viego, which amassed significant resources early on. The second game was much smoother for the LFL champions, as Volodymyr "Maynter" Sorokin delivered a standout performance on Aatrox, securing KCB’s spot in the playoffs. Los Ratones will now have to defeat E WIE EINFACH E-SPORTS, who eliminated NightBirds, to claim the final spot in the Knockout Stage.

Last chance matches

Wednesday's matchups feature Macko Esports vs. ZennIT and BIG vs. Team Phantasma, both kicking off at 5 PM CET. Later, at 8 PM CET, Geekay will face Barça, while Los Ratones take on EWI. The winners will advance to the playoffs, while the losers will see their tournament run come to an end.
