Their match is the fifth most popular of the year in LoL, with a total of 292.400 peak viewers
The EMEA Masters Winter 2025 continues to break new ground, with yesterday’s clash between Karmine Corp Blue and Los Ratones setting a new group stage viewership record. With 292,400 peak viewers, this Group D Upper Bracket Final became the most-watched group stage match in the tournament’s history.
As two of the most followed teams in the competition, KCB and Los Ratones brought in a massive audience, driven in part by the popularity of their owners and co-streamers—Kamel “Kamet0” Kebir for Karmine Corp and Marc Robert “Caedrel” Lamont for Los Ratones. Their combined influence helped propel the EMEA Masters to new heights, showcasing once again the power of content creator-backed teams.
A very hyped scenario backed by the success of costreaming
This highly anticipated series delivered not only in viewership but also in competition. Karmine Corp Blue dominated the series, securing a convincing 2-0 victory over Los Ratones. The numbers tell the story of the match’s massive reach. More than 200,000 of the 292,400 peak viewers came directly from the co-streams of Caedrel and Kamet0. Caedrel’s stream led the way, pulling in over 150,000 peak viewers, while Kamet0, though slightly behind his usual numbers, still played a key role in the match’s success.
The EMEA Masters Winter 2025 has secured its place as the fifth-most-popular League of Legends event of the year so far, peaking at over 308,900 viewers—including those watching Geekay vs Barça eSports, which ran simultaneously. While still far behind the LCK Cup, LEC Winter, and First Stand finals, it’s a strong result for a Tier 2 competition. The rise of co-streamer-supported teams like Los Ratones and Karmine Corp Blue continues to push European esports viewership forward.

Los Ratones, in particular, have been a major factor in this year’s viewership surge. With a roster of experienced European talent and the backing of one of League of Legends’ most prominent personalities in Caedrel, they have become one of the most-watched teams in the EMEA region. While their loss to KCB was a setback, they remain strong contenders for the rest of the tournament.
