Duffman reunites with Grabbz and Mikyx, with whom he won multiple LEC titles and an MSI title in 2019
Christopher "Duffman" Duff has officially joined Fnatic in the LEC as Assistant Coach. He will reunite with Fabian "GrabbZ" Lohmann and Mihael "Mikyx" Mehle, with whom he experienced the peak of their success in the LEC, including their MSI title and Worlds Final in 2019.
On December 6th, G2 Esports announced that Duffman had departed from their coaching staff, as he had decided to take a break from his career to focus on his personal life. He later confirmed on his social media that he feels refreshed after being without a team during the Winter split and is fully committed to rekindling his synergy with German coach GrabbZ to bring Fnatic back to the top of the podium.
A world-class coaching staff
Duffman is one of the behind-the-scenes figures in G2 Esports' great success over the years in the LEC. He first made his mark at G2 Esports, where he served as Head Analyst from 2016 to 2017. After a successful tenure, he moved to TSM, though his time there was short-lived, lasting only three months. Duffman returned to G2 to take on his previous role as Head Analyst, staying with the team for over three years. His work during this time helped shape G2's strategies and success in the LEC.
After leaving G2 at the end of 2021, Duffman joined Team BDS as a coach for a season before transitioning to Cloud9 in May 2023. There, he served as an assistant coach before ultimately deciding to return to Europe in 2024, again with G2. This season, he has won every possible title in Europe, winning all three splits and the Season Finals alongside Dylan Falco. This very intense year which included traveling to play MSI, EWC 2024, and Worlds may have been a great deal in his decision to take a break in early 2025. This time, he joined Fnatic for the Spring 2025 season, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his past roles across top-tier organizations.
