All three recruits have previously won an Ultraliga title
Back2TheGame decided to change three players ahead of the upcoming season of the Rift Legends, the rebranded Polish League of Legends league (formerly Ultraliga). Toplaner Tobiasz “Agresivoo” Ciba, midlaner Michał “Roison” Dubiel, and support Kacper “Czypsy” Zaparuch will join the organization, as announced by B2G on Tuesday. Notably, all three players have previously won the Polish league: Agresivoo claimed the title in Season 2 during the spring of 2019 and has not competed in his national league since then.
The Polish toplaner subsequently cemented his reputation as one of the finest in the European Regional League (ERL) circuit. Over two seasons, he competed for the top spots in the LFL with Misfits Premier and then BDS Academy. Agresivoo even captured the French championship with the Rabbits in Summer 2021, in addition to winning the 2020 and 2021 editions of the LFL Championship Finals, the season-end tournament featuring the league's best teams of the year. He also finished as the runner-up in the LFL Spring 2022 with BDS Academy, which led to a stint in the LEC’s main roster during the Summer Split.
However, the jump to the LEC proved challenging: his team finished last, with a record of three wins and 15 losses. Since returning to the ERL in 2023, Agresivoo’s performance has been way more inconsistent. The year 2024, in particular, was a disaster, with a last-place finish in the LFL with AEGIS and an eighth-place result in the Prime League with Eintracht Frankfurt. Despite this, Agresivoo remains, on paper, the standout player of this roster, and a return to his roots could reignite his career.
A Quest for Redemption
For their part, Roison and Czypsy won the Ultraliga Season 10 championship together in the summer of 2023 with Anonymo Esports. They continued as teammates through Spring 2024, narrowly missing out on a title defense after losing the final to Zero Tenacity. Their partnership ended after a quarter-final elimination at the EMEA Spring Masters: Roison moved to the Arabian League with GnG Amazigh for Summer 2024, while Czypsy joined Atleta Esport in the Italian League (LIT). The duo reunited briefly in November during the T-esports Championship Season 3, playing under the banner of Szaty Bobra.
The trio will now join jungler Michał “ShazQ” Szymiczek and AD Carry Dawid “Lothen” Błaszczyk, both of whom were part of Back2TheGame’s lineup last summer. The two men had already played together with GR1ND at the beginning of 2022, during Season 4 of the Ultraliga 2nd Division. One year later, ShazQ joined B2G in the summer of 2023 and contributed to the team's promotion in September last year.
Reunited with Lothen last summer, he came agonizingly close to winning the Season 12 championship. However, like Roison and Czypsy earlier that year during Season 11, ShazQ and Lothen fell in the final to Zero Tenacity, the dominant Polish team of 2024.
