Pick'Em will be back on September 18 at 7pm CET !
As for every year, Riot Games has just released its Worlds 2024 Event Trailer. Entitled "Choose to believe", it showcases every upcoming features related to the World Championship. While it mainly is about skins and the Event Pass, Riot explains they will share 30% of the gross revenue from the Worlds 2024 Event Pass & Worlds 2024 Viego skin with teams competing in the tournament, similarly as in previous years.
First, the return of Pick'Em is confirmed! It will be opened for Play-In starting September 18 at 7pm CET until September 2pm CET. For Swiss stage, it will open from September 29 to October 3, while final phase will open after each previous match ended. To sum up, here are all of the other announces contained in the trailer:
- The Worlds 2024 Event Pass is back, offering the usual array of rewards, orbs, coins, and icons.
- This year's Worlds Skin has been designed for Viego, he succeeds to Renekton from Worlds 2023.
- The Fright Night skin line introduces eerie new looks for Nunu & Willump, Pyke, Veigar and Shaco, with an exclusive Prestige skin for Zeri.
- Fans can also look forward to playing in the return of the Ultimate Spellbook game mode.
The tournament is set to start on September 25 in Berlin (Play-In stage), while the final will be played at the O2 Arena in London on November 2.
