30% of each emote sale goes to the teams involved
Riot Games released its new Global Emotes on August 28 across all regions. These emotes were designed by and for the Tier 1 professional League of Legends teams, including those from the LEC, LPL, LCK, LCS, VCS, PCS, LLA, and CBLOL. This initiative is part of Riot Games' strategic plan to find new ways to share revenue to teams within its esports ecosystem. Thirty percent of the revenue from each emote goes directly to the teams involved in the design process. Currently, each emote is priced at 350 RP. With current prices setting 350 rp at roughly 2 euros, one emote would give 0.7 euro per capita.

Each of these emotes resonates with the teams' identity. Some prominently display the team's logo, while others, more subtle, incorporate specific references to the organization's lore. Find below all the designed emotes:

The 100 Thieves and Team BDS emotes have been slightly altered due to concerns that they might contain subliminal malicious messages, according to some users. This sparked a significant amount of controversy on platforms like Twitter and Reddit, as the original emotes were among the most popular, adding a bit of spice and taunting to the game.
