At the end of the four BO5 of the Last Chance Qualifier: Team GO, BK ROG, NNO Prime and Misa Esports qualified for the Swiss Stage
This Friday, the LCQ of the EMEA Masters summer 2024, has delivered its verdict. The last four teams to qualify through this stage are now all known as they join the other 28 best League of Legends teams on the ERL circuit. Following their BO5, LFL teams Team GO and BK ROG will join Prime League's NNO Prime and TCL's Misa Esports on the main stage. Eintracht Spandau, champions of the spring edition, will not defend their title as they were beaten 3-2 by Team GO.
Two LFL teams qualified
It was the main event from Friday and it delivered. Team GO who failed to reach the EMEA Masters in spring just knocked down the reigning champion in an epic battle. Both teams fought back through the entire BO5 as it went all the way to the fifth game. Even then, this last encounter was very close but the French team could count on Oliver "Dajor" Ryppa's Ezreal, who seemed determined to eliminate his German compatriots. Team GO joins four other LFL teams, as BK ROG also qualified with a fast 3-0 against FUT Esports (TCL fourth seed).
NNO Prime also go through the LCQ after their win over Movistar KOI. In another tight serie, the germans have got the better of the spaniards on the decisive game. Especially thanks to the Kennen of Daniel "Scarface" Aitbelkacem which clutched the last fight with a devastating flank. On the other hand Misa Esports gave themselves a scare against Nord Esports, after losing the first game of the serie. But in the end, they did not swet too much since they won the three following games in less than thirty minutes each.
