To coincide with the release of the Razer Viper V3 Pro Faker Edition*, the greatest player in League of Legends history answered questions from Sheep Esports. The legendary T1 midlaner reflects on his illustrious career and discusses the reasons behind his partnership with Razer.

What was the happiest moment of your career as a pro player?

Lee "Faker" Sasng-hyeok: "The happiest moments are definitely when I win Worlds. Recently, we won Worlds, and it felt amazing because it was an achievement we accomplished together as a team. Thinking about how happy our fans must have been made it even more special.

Many people will remember you as the greatest player of all time. But for you, when your great career will end, what do you want to be remembered for?

Faker: I'm deeply grateful simply for being remembered, and that alone holds great meaning for me. Beyond that, I hope people can draw inspiration from me and gain many positive impacts—that would mean the most to me.

Have you ever considered role-swapping in your career? If you had to, which other role would you have chosen?

Faker: I originally thought I wanted to play jungle, but lately, I've found that playing toplane is really enjoyable as well.

Which reworked champion would you bring back to its old version and why?

Faker: I personally liked Galio before the rework, so it's a bit disappointing that I won’t get to see the old version again.

What's the main thing that keeps you playing and fighting even after winning the Worlds so many times?

Faker: I try not to dwell on the past and focus on the present instead. I believe this is my prime, and the desire to show my fans an even better side of myself plays a big role in motivating me.

What inspired you to collaborate with Razer as an esports athlete? How did this partnership come about, and what drew him to Razer as a brand?

Faker: By chance, a fan once gifted me a DeathAdder mouse, which marked the beginning of my journey with Razer. Impressed by their quality and performance, I continued to use them, and this naturally evolved into a long-lasting relationship with the Razer that continues to this day.

What are the key features you looked for in your gaming gear and how have you ensured that these features that you love are also reflected in the Razer Viper V3 Pro?

Faker: I was looking for a lighter mouse that felt more comfortable and fit my style better than what I was using before. Then the Viper V3 Pro came out, and when I gave it a try, it felt perfect for me. These days, I’ve been using the Viper V3 Pro, and what I love most is how comfortable it stays, even after using it for a long time.

What message does he want to send to your fans through this collaboration?

Faker: Since many fans are curious about the products I use, I imagine some might want to try using the same mouse as me. I hope that when they do, they’ll feel just as satisfied with the product as I do."
