The French support Talent has now found his new home
The French support Théo "Zoelys" Le Scornec has reached a verbal agreement with Infinite Reality’s Team in the LoL EMEA Championship (LEC), according to Sheep Esports Sources. Trying to replicate their luck with players from the European Tier 2 Scene, he is the next player to make the jump from EMEA Masters to the LEC.
Zoelys had offered his services to the French organizations LDLC OL and Karmine Corp for 2023. In 2023 Zoelys and LDLC OL participated in both LFL Splits. While the results of Summer were not as great as the team wished, the team won the LFL 2023 Spring Playoffs in dominant fashion. After the end of the Summer Split, Zoelys made the switch to Karmine Corp, to finish the year off playing the Coupe de France for the organization.
Zoelys was looked at by a multitude of organizations during the last months. He was considered, as previously reported, by Fnatic as a possibility for their Support position. Additionally, the French organization Karmine Corp was interested in his services for their academy team.
This recruitment also means the departure of Henk “Advienne” Reijenga. The dutch support player joined Infinite Reality’s LEC Team (then KOI) during June 2023 and failed to reach to reach LEC 2023 Summer Playoffs or the Season Finals with his team.
Finally locking in their target
With this news, Infinite Reality was able to reach a verbal agreement with a player they tried to lock in for their roster already in the past. The organization had attempted to lure the player in a prior offseason, during which no deal for a transfer was found. This meant that, at that time, Zoelys had to remain with LDLC OL. With this agreement, Zoelys has now finally found his way into the LEC
