AD Carry Matthew Charles "xMatty" Coombs has reached a verbal agreement with Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition to join the Prime League, according to Sheep Esports sources. The player previously competed in the LoL EMEA Championship (LEC) prior to moving down to BDS' academic division in the LFL.

New Adventure, Same Colors

Most known for his time with Karmine Corp during the 2021 season, xMatty was once an EMEA Masters back to back champion. In recent years, the player has struggled to live up to his past results, landing in 9th and 10th place in the LEC during his tenure on BDS.

Replaced by Juš "Crownie" Marušič in the 2023 season, xMatty competed in the LFL this year. Throughout his time in the prestigious French ERL, the AD Carry landed himself in 4th and 7th place, missing a shot at the EMEA Masters.

Despite his recent results, xMatty now turns himself in the direction of the Unicorns, hoping for a resurgence. Earlier this month, UOL was reported to have reached verbal agreements with Lukas "Lurox" Thoma and Gia "Addusto" Huy Khuat. With this move, xMatty will be the third piece of the puzzle for the storied German organization.
