Return of the Champion
Despite a challenging 2023 season, whiteinn is now poised to rejoin the organization with which he has experienced the most success in his career. Competing with Karmine Corp and GIANTS this year, the player is now looking to re-iterate his past feats and bring Heretics back to the top of the SuperLiga. Re-uniting with Artur "Zwyroo" Trojan and Jakob "Jackspektra" Gullvag Kepple, with whom he secured victory in the EMEA Masters during the summer of 2022, the Romanian support is eager to once again showcase his skills to the Spanish fans.
While the team may not be retaining its entire championship-winning roster, it has made interesting moves during this off-season, including the addition of 17-year-old rookie Carl Ulsted "Carlsen" Carlsen and former LEC jungler Andrei "Xerxe" Dragomir. With great new additions to its roster combined with some of the pillars which previously brought the team to the top of Europe, Heretics is primed to make a strong entry into the league in 2024.
Since promoting to the LEC, the team's SuperLiga division has continued to prove successful. First ending the SuperLiga in 2nd position during the spring split of 2023, the organization managed to reach the EMEA Masters semifinals in the first half of the year, only falling to the Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition. In summer, the team would be faced with challenges, finding itself in 3rd position of the league before being knocked out in the first round of the playoffs. Bouncing back at the end of the year, the team made interesting changes for the Iberian Cup, eventually winning the tournament against KOI.
With strong ambitions, Heretics is now looking to climb back to its throne and prove once more that they are one of the best organizations in the EMEA Regional Leagues.
