One spot remains open on Movistar KOI’s roster.
Dom "soulcas" Sulcas of Apeks and Dawid "Filu" Czarneck of DSYRE have reached verbal agreements to join Movistar KOI in VCT EMEA ahead of the 2025 season. Team Liquid’s finalized Kamil "kamo" Frąckowiak buyout, reported by Sheep Esports, opened space on the KOI roster for Filu and soulcas; the Spanish organization aimed to sign both players together, but only once kamo’s deal was complete.
As a member of Team Liquid’s inaugural VALORANT roster, 24-year-old soulcas entered the space when the esport was in its infancy. He remained on Team Liquid for years — as every single one of the players around him changed — until late 2023. After Champions, soulcas became a restricted free agent and moved to Apeks, a Noreweigan organization battling its way through VCL aiming for Ascension. In September, he won the Ascension tournament alongside Apeks with a 3-2 victory against PCFIC Esports.
Perfect year in Italy
Filu, on the other hand, at only 19 years old, was a key part of DSYRE’s dominance in the Italian VCL this year. Though the team was unable to achieve a top-four finish at this year’s Ascension, they dominated domestically, winning all three domestic tournaments — ON // THE BATTLEFIELD, Split 1, and Split 2. In his debut on the tier 1 VCT stage alongside KOI, Filu will be the youngest member of his team.
With kamo’s departure and Bogdan “Sheydos” Naumov and Grzegorz “Grubinho” Ryczko planning to remain on the roster for the 2025 season, one spot remains open on Movistar KOI’s roster — as the team makes its final decisions, Sheep Esports will continue to report on the VCT offseason in the Americas and EMEA.
