TheRock has never placed lower than second in any ERL league he’s competed in
Karmine Corp Blue have found their new Head Coach for the upcoming LFL season. According to Sheep Esports sources, the Blue Wall has reached a verbal agreement with Vasilis “TheRock” Voltis, who will take over the role previously held by Wadi “Wadi” Benarbia. The Greek coach first entered the League of Legends scene in 2014, but it was his work as a caster between 2019 and 2021 that earned him wider recognition in his home country. After honing his expertise as a broadcaster, TheRock — who's currently co-streaming Worlds in Greek — made a successful transition into coaching.
In his debut split, he steered Team Phantasma to victory in the Spring 2022 Greek League (GLL). He followed up this success by securing another GLL title in the spring of 2023 with We Love Gaming... and Vladimiros "Vladi" Kourtidis in the roster. By May 2024, TheRock broadened his horizons, joining Partizan Esports* in the EBL (Balkans), where he once again delivered strong results. Under his leadership, the team finished first in the regular season and advanced to the Summer Split final.
Over three years of coaching, TheRock has built an exceptional record: he has never placed lower than second in any league he’s competed in (excluding the EMEA Masters). His winning mentality aligns seamlessly with Karmine Corp’s ambitions, a team that has long been a force in the LFL. Apart from a brief dip in performance between summer 2022 and spring 2023, the club has consistently been at the forefront, with an excellent 2024 year in which they captured the Spring Split title and reached the Summer finals.
