Heretics built their roster around their AD Carry, Flakked

This offseason, Team Heretics have undergone a complete philosophical shift. In 2024, the team fielded a roster packed with experienced players —even veterans for some of them— of the European scene. It was also almost a G2 Esports alumni reunion: Martin “Wunder” Hansen in the toplane, Marcin “Jankos” in the jungle, Luka “Perkz” Perkovic in midlane, Victor “Flakked” Lirola as AD Carry, and Norman “Kaiser” Kaiser— the only member without prior ties to the Samurais—as support. While the lineup changed during the season, it retained its core identity, built around familiar faces in the LEC.

For the 2025 LEC season, the Spanish organization has completely rebuilt, retaining only one of these five players according to Sheep Esports sources: Flakked. The AD Carry will now lead a team with three rookies: Carl Ulsted “Carlsen” Carlsen in the toplane, Kamil “Kamiloo” Haudegond in midlane, and Paul “Stend” Lardin as support. Carlsen earned his promotion after an impressive 2024 season in the LVP Academy squad, where Los Heretics won both Superliga splits and he was named Spring Split Rookie. Stend’s arrival is similarly unsurprising; his excellent season with Vitality.Bee in the LFL made him a natural candidate for a spot in the EMEA League of Legends elite.

Kamiloo, a huge gamble

Kamiloo’s recruitment, however, represents a bold gamble. The French midlaner is set to be the first player in history to move directly from an ERL Division 2 team to the LEC, bypassing ERL1 entirely. After shining with IziDream in LFL Division 2 last year, Kamiloo brings with him Individual Coach Victor “Nayas” Quevrin, who has worked closely with him since their shared tenure at Atletec in 2023.

Rounding out the roster is jungler Théo “Sheo” Borile, a third French player. Although he only has two seasons under his belt, the former BDS player appears experienced compared to his new teammates. Sheo made a convincing debut in 2023 and solidified his reputation in 2024. Head Coach Víctor “Machuki” Segura will also continue in his role, providing stability to a squad brimming with potential.
