At Home with Karmine Corp
After winning three EMEA Masters with the French organization, Targamas is currently set to join the team as it finally enters the LEC after years of waiting. As the most dominant organization in the ERL circuit, the team is now aiming to make waves in the upper leagues and prove itself with the best teams that Europe has to offer.
Prior to re-joining KC in the summer of this year, Targamas also had a one-year tenure with G2 Esports, with whom he won the LEC 2022 Spring Split, attended the Mid-Season Invitational, finished as runner-ups in Summer, and competed at Worlds of that year.
Despite a lackluster start to 2023 under the banner of Excel Esports, the Belgian support has proved to have retained his past skills as he helped his team sweep through the LFL and the EMEA Masters, winning yet another title this year.
Two More to Go
Per sources, Karmine Corp has put a strong emphasis on re-signing Targamas for its support position this off-season. Reports indicate that the team has not explored any other players and has been dead set on renewing its agreements with the Belgian support. With this move now complete, KC is expected to push towards renewing agreements with top laner Lucas "Cabochard" Simon-Meslet and mid laner Lucas "Saken" Fayard as well.
To complete KC's bot lane, reports indicate that Elias "Upset" Lipp is expected to join the French organization. These recent moves will mark the first time that the two players will compete together. While the two players may have historically displayed different play-styles, they have proved to be strong individual performers in past years. The association of the two will prove to be one of the most interesting duos as the upcoming competitive season approaches.
